Disaster Recovery Funding and Advice

Resilient Homes

The Northern Rivers Reconstruction Corporation (NRRC) manages the rebuilding of flood-impacted communities in the Northern Rivers region.

The fund has been developed by the Northern Rivers Reconstruction Corporation to improve the resilience of homes in high-risk flood areas in the Ballina, Byron, Clarence Valley, Kyogle, Lismore, Richmond Valley, and Tweed local government areas.

Currently, the Resilient Homes workstream, also known as the Resilient Homes Fund, is made up of two programs:

  1. The $700 million Resilient Homes Program is 50:50 co-funded by the Australian Government and NSW Government.
  2. The $100 million Resilient Lands Program is fully funded by the NSW Government.
